Fun in the Forest birthday parties

Let your child and their friends have a great outdoor bushcraft birthday party at our private use woodland in Kelvedon Hatch, Essex. Running around in our secure private woodland environment, playing games, having fun, connecting with nature and learning some new skills. They will have one of their best birthday parties ever. We cater for an age range of 5-14. Below the age of 8 we ask some parents to remain at the party and enjoy a tea or coffee around the campfire.

After booking they will be able to choose 1 item from a selection of activities to do with their friends, this activitiy will be mixed in with some brilliant and fun outdoor games in the woods. Activities to choose include, fire lighting, mini den making, making bannock bread cooked over the fire, water purification or making a mini bow and arrow. 

Prices for our Birthday parties are £200 for up to 12 people, then an extra £10 per person after that and the party lasts for 3 hours.

You are welcome to bring in your own catering, but we can cater for party members, cooking burgers and hot dogs over the campfire for an extra £6 per person. Allergies and beliefs will be catered for. Marshmallows are included in the price, as no party is complete without marshmallows. 

To book a Fun in the Forest birthday party you will need to pay a 20% deposit, we will then request the balance due when final numbers and requirements have been arranged a week before the party.

We schedule our birthday parties for Sunday mornings, but we can be flexible if you require a different time slot that does not clash with our other courses, and we might be able to organise an evening party in the week or weekend. Please use the contact form below for any enquiries.

Parents are welcome to hang around under our shelter around the campfire.

Being outdoors we are regarded as a covid safe environment for children's activities, but if rules change we will contact you and try to work with the new regulations at the time. 

Our birthday parties go ahead all year round and in all weathers except very high winds and electrical storms for safety reasons. In the event bad weather we will work with you to get the party back on again as soon as possible. 

Outdoor clothing will be required suitable to the conditions at the time.
