How does Let's Get Out support DofE Expeditions for schools

Covering the complete expedition section of the Silver award from training through to the final assessed expedition.

What's included in the Silver package:

•Online pre-expedition training module

•In-person navigation and skills training day

•A full practice expedition 

•Fully assessed Silver expedition

•All qualified staff, campsite fees, tents, stoves, gas, maps, and compasses

Key differences from Bronze: Silver expeditions cover greater distances over more demanding terrain and require participants to be more self-sufficient. They are run further from home and transport will be required.

Pupil Premium support: We offer one half-price place for every 10 PP students booked.

Let’s Get Out provided high quality equipment that our students otherwise would not have had access to. Duncan was a fantastic liaison and made the entire planning and booking process so easy! He was always on hand to answer all my questions and accommodate any needs of our College. He always ensured any obstacles we encountered were overcome resourcefully and patiently, ensuring our students were put first.
